Recently a customer was getting the error code; \n0x80070005-0x000004dc-0x00000524 when trying to email \u2018sent as\u2019 from a \nnewly created shared mailbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After searching online I found a lot of potential solutions like;
\n\u2013 Make sure only Full Access and Full control are set as permissions, do not use sent on behalf aswell.
\n\u2013 Start Outlook in safemode
\n\u2013 Create a new Outlook profile
\n\u2013 Use the OWA<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The only thing that worked was using the OWA, but then I saw that \n\u2018Show in global addresslist\u2019 was set to \u2018No\u2019. When I changed this to \n\u2018Yes\u2019 it was working again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
